About Us

Our Story

This wildlife park in the state of Queensland is owned by a government-registered Charitable Trust known as My Park Australia Trust (Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission Reg. No. 98709072230), which will be carrying out a broad range of charitable activities for the benefit of the general community. These activities include the development and maintenance of wildlife habitat, the care of Australian wildlife such as kangaroos and koalas and providing interactive services to foster education and assistance with people with learning difficulties through the medium of virtual interaction with native wildlife.

Founders

This project was founded by a group of concerned individuals who were keen to assist in the care and protection of Australian wildlife, without disturbing the animals. This would be done through the use of VR and AR videos links over the internet. In addition, the founders wished to broaden the charitable use of the park to enable the interaction between schoolchildren in Australia with those children overseas, again using VR and AR video links. This same technology was also planned to be used to assist in teaching persons with learning difficulties such as ADHD.
